In between the Mediterranean Sea and Alps, there is a picturesque, winegrowing area, called Goriška Brda. Located close to the Adriatic Sea and secured from the cold, with the hills in the north, Goriška Brda`s climate is mild and perfect for growing vines, sweet cherries, peaches, apricots, figs, kaki and other fruits.

Krasno village is situated in the heart of the region, surrounded with the hills full of vineyards on one side and forests, located around the highest point of Goriška Brda, on the other side. Our vineyards are spreading on steep slopes in terraces, what requires a lot of effort when cultivating, but on the other side, this gives a special touch to our wine.

Our family is cultivating vines and making wine for many years. Since the opening, we have been part of the cooperative Goriška Brda Wine Cellar, where we sold part of our harvest. However our passion for wine making was bigger, so in 2016 we kept all the grapes at home and started developing our own wine brand.

We have 6 vineyards with the total of 7000+ vines and we cultivate 5 different wine grapes. Each vineyard is located on a different side and on a different hill, what gives a unique flavour to the specific grape and later to the wine made out of it. Our production is small, about 10 000l of wine per year, depends of the season, but being small offers us a possibility to focus on the manual production with traditional methods, devote to the distinctive features of a specific wine type and create quality, boutique wines.
